David Kirshoff and James Dawson both grew up building. James was raised in the NYC construction world and has experienced job sites and the trades from an early age. David was born into a metal shop, fabricating and designing objects since childhood. As long time friends and collaborators, the creation of Top Hat Construction was a no-brainer: built on a shared system of client-motivated values as well as a mutual appreciation for well built environments, David and James believe in fostering great relationships with clients through attention to detail, responsiveness, and a general “can-do attitude” that helps customers feel taken care of throughout the construction process. Top Hat Construction believes that no job is complete until all of a client’s needs are met!
